The Magic of Birmingham Tour - (This tour is currently on hiatus.)

Birmingham was founded in 1871 during the post-Civil War Reconstruction period through the merger of three pre-existing farm towns.  Today, Birmingham is a magical mix of industry, technology, health care, and most of all, community.

From our troubled past to our successful present to our unlimited future, the City of Birmingham continues to impress both locals and visitors alike.

After we depart the main trolley stop in downtown Birmingham, we will travel all around the Birmingham area, viewing such locations as:

• The Alabama Theater
• Vulcan Park
• Sloss Furnaces
• The Civil Rights District
• and more...

All ages are welcome on this family-friendly tour.

• The Magic of Birmingham 90-minute tour will be offered on select days
• Board the trolley at the Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitors Bureau main offices located in Uptown. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure time.
• Snacks and drinks are welcome on the trolley.
• On-street parking is available, and the BJCC Red Deck is adjacent to the trolley stop.
• Tickets are $49 for adults (10+) and $19 for children (3-9).
