Frequently Asked questions

How do I buy tickets for these tours?

Tickets must be purchased in advance on this website. If seats are available moments before departure, credit card payments can be taken by the driver based on availability. We highly recommend booking your ticket in advance due to high demand.

Can I bring drinks on the trolley?

Drinks are allowed as long as they have a lid or top on them to prevent spills.

Where will each tour begin and end?

The Magic of Birmingham and the Trolley of Terror tours will begin and end directly outside the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau in Uptown.  The address is 2200 9th Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203 .  


The Jolly Trolleydays tour will begin and end at Ferus Artesian Ales in the Trussville Entertainment District (TED). The address is 101 Beech Street, Trussville, AL 35173.

Where can I park for each tour?

Guests for the Magic of Birmingham tour and the Trolley of Terror tour can use the paid 22nd Street Parking Deck (also known as the Red Deck) adjacent to the trolley stop.  There is also a paid flat lot right off 23rd street behind Mugshots in Uptown, and free on-street parking in front of Protective Stadium.


Guests of the Jolly Trolleydays tour will find ample free parking all around the Trussville Entertainment District.

How frequently are the different tours offered?

Different tours will be offered at different times of the year.  For example, the Jolly Trolleydays tour will run for 15 nights each December, while the Magic of Birmingham Tour will run approximately once or twice per week beginning in 2025.

Is your trolley wheelchair-accessible?

Passengers need to be able to ascend three steps to access the trolley. 

How many passengers does the trolley hold?

Our antique trolley has seating for 22.
